Participate in the Back to Health Golf Fitness program for just 20 minutes two days each week! Our workout is specifically designed for golfers using the same state of the art MedX "Core Spinal Fitness" equipment used by pros on the Men's PGA and Men's Senior PGA Tour. We leave swing mechanics to the pros, but our program will give you the core strength and flexibility you need to get the most out of professional golf instruction.

According to the 2006 Golfer Health Study conducted by Golf Digest, the most common health problem for golfers is back injury or pain. It affects over 27% of golfers and keeps them off the course for months at a time. This is because most of the power in the golf swing is generated by the rotational movement of the trunk and lower body. If the "core" muscles are weak or inflexible the golfer compensates by over-swinging with the arms. In doing so he or she loses power and control (over-swinging is a primary cause of slicing) and risks injury. Renowned golf coach Butch Harmon notes "Golfers don't realize how much strength and flexibility they lose through the decades if they don't actively engage in physical training."
